It worked for me and has been one of the best mods I made...and free to boot!

Also, make sure that you didn't have any of the plastic from the hole blocking the hole...sounds stupid but it has to be something simple because this mod does work.

Worked perfectly for me

I took off the mirrors first so I could see where to make the hole

I drilled mine just after I got it a couple weeks ago. I went real slow and careful and as I felt the drill bit cut through the plastic I stopped. There apparently wasn't any water in mine at the time. But taking a hose to the mirror area the water came shooting out the new hole. I did have a bit of plastic come out on one and then it shot water out as well.

I was expecting to wrestle taking the mirrors off, but they nearly fell off by unscrewing them. Notched a V in the foam and used a 5/64 bit.

I picked up a 18v drill and drill bits at Harbor Freight for 20 bucks today to do this mod, lol.

Ond of the easyest mods there is. Took me only seconds and works how I want it too! My mirrors were filled with mud so it was nice to clean that all out!
