interesting. yanked off the mirrors, there was no water but lots of dirt, and the metal inside was really corroded from lots of water in there at some point.

drilled em out, we'll see if it does anything. I think I wrecked the gasket inside though so i may have done more harm than good.

Awesome mod! Seriously had so much mud come out of the mirrors when I drilled.

Did this mod awhile back and it took some time but the drip streaks down the door finally disappeared.

I did mine, but still get the leak... I'm going to use a bigger drill bit tomorrow. I tried washing the water marks off my doors, but no luck. HOW THE HELL DO I GET THE WATER MARKS OFF MY BLACK PAINT???

I recommend doing this with a hose handy. I just did mine and then sprayed the mirrors with a hose an only noticed a small drip. I was about to get a larger bit but decided to drill a little deeper before I did. I spayed the hose on the mirrors again and then a large amount of water came squirting out! So have a hose handy so you know that you went deep enough and did it correctly.

Drilled mine today after washing the jeep and absolutely nothing came out. Better safe than sorry I guess.
