drilled the 2010 last nite, got a bit of water, only got a teaspoon of water after a couple of high pressure washes. I took the passenger side off to drill eaiser, and found the inside already starting to build a white corroision.

Thumbs up

Worked for me. I had the dripping for several hours after a run through the car wash, mainly the brushless/touchless ones with high pressure water jets. I pulled the drivers side mirror off to have a look and as soon as the bolts were loosened the water just dumped out. Drilled a small hole in each mirror bracket and now... no more water building up in there

Did it last night- -didn't pull the mirrors just went slow and easy with the drill. Worked like a champ----what an easy fix for a PITA problem.

Well

At first I was totally confused... not ratchets... not air tools and no swearing... I was genuinely sure I didnt know how to use a drill anymore after bumpers, winches, lifts and tires...

Somehow, i didnt f*k it up and was extremely confused that i didnt have to put something on and take it off 2 more times to figure out exactly how it worked.

Awesome!

I did it.

I could not believe how much muck ran out before it cleared up.

Now, when I wash, its done drippin' by the time I'm done drying.

I want to do this if it really works like people are saying, but I don't want water to start pouring out as I'm holding an electric drill.
