Drilled the side view mirrors!
#372
Like other have said. Literally 3 minutes from computer to garage to jeep to this follow up post. The bit I used was a 5/32 and it looks perfectly factory! The Jeep had been sitting in the sun and I had washed it this morning. The initial drips had left their white streak and had stopped. Both sides sprung another leak once opened up.
Cool!

Can anyone comment on the 09's and let us know if we still need to do this with the 09's or if they have fixed them?
I'm currently makeing a list on microsoft word with a few different quick mods from the forum. (drill mirrors, Led lighting (on dash and in footwells), rotate antenna so it won't contact lights on the windshield brackets, probably going to go with cooltech CB antenna mount, and I'm still searching for a good post with some pictures of where I could mount a full sized CB. There is no way I can be with out that. lol.

yeah dude. at least it's not like drilling a hole in the sheet metal somewhere visible. when i did mine, i just couldn't believe i was taking a drill to my brand new jeep. just go easy and no problems.
