Quick and easy mod. Had a nice waterfall for a few minutes.

Drilled mine Saturday, and it they where full of muddy looking crap. Flushed them with water and no more leaking. Wish I would have done this a few months ago..

I've had my JK for 18 months and I'm just now getting to this mod!! I didn't think it was a big deal until someone showed me the rust on my hinge just below the mirror!!!! YIKES!!!!

Rubimon Thanks for your mod. But since I have purchased relocation brackets to remove my
stock mirrors from the doors, to the windshield frame, and placed the round metal covers with
gasket over my doors I will not be needing this mod for awhile. My one question is
I saw a lot of posts from Jeepers who have pics of their Jeeps with doors removed no mirrors.
Are you only using your Jeeps off road. I thought it was State law to have one or both rear mirrors. Just curious, the relocation bracket really only works on the driver side.

Is anyone out their using a different relocation bracket and mirror. Meaning are they keeping their stock mirrors on their doors when they remove them.

Any info available thanks.

Also any info on changing from a side gate to a rear lift gate.
