since this is so popular I will add my writeup here

Here are the few steps I took to drill mine out. I didnt want to leave a nick on the soft plastic of the Jeep (i will allow a tree or rock to do that for me).

Hell yeah! Glad I found this thread! I had seen listed in peoples' sigs a mysterious "mirror mod" . . . now I know! Woohoo!!! Now I have something to do tomorrow on my day off!

And BTW, those streaks really show up on Detonator Yellow!

I must admit, of all the mods I have made to my Jeep this is one of my favorites! It made my dad and I laugh out loud when I did it.

wanna know what makes me laugh out loud? we're the only group of guys that woud have a 27 page long thread about drilling 2 tiny holes in a couple pieces of plastic.
