Are the instructions the same for 2 hardtop? Most of the pics I see are for the 4 door hardtops.
Thanks

Thanks. The tops looked the same on the forum but I have not checked out the 4 door in person.

Default Picture and thanks

Figured I'd post and say thanks for the directions.

$40.76 mainly because I went with locking casters for all 4 wheels (note the locks on the casters might prevent the caster from rotating if you put the casters all the way to the edges).

Instead of carpet I tried the Anti-Fatigue Roll Mat #61241 from Harbor Freight. It was cheap ($9) and padded, not sure though how long it will stay fluffy, seems like the cells in the foam may collapse.

Next I'm going to throw the cross brace in it and tie it down with a strap just in case.

Looks great. I used locking casters all the way around also. That was half my total cost.

I used a ratchet strap to secure my top to the cart. Was concerned that it may jump off if I rolled the cart while the top was on it. I placed a carpet scrap between the strap and where it touches the top and just pulled the strap till snug being careful not to over tighten. I don't have a picture of it on the cart but I think there is one somebody posted to this thread. That's where I got the idea.

I just found this awesome thread. I'm going to build a cart this weekend. Anyone know how many 8' 2x4's it takes? 3? A materials list would be a great addition to this thread.
