Thanks so much for this! Going to use it for my new Jeep! I spent the whole day yesterday making an outdoor Suncast shed in my backyard

Wonder if there's one for my 4dr doors cause I'm moving to an apartment condo and it's gonna be a pain taking them up in the elevator 10 floors up from the parking lot

I am going to build the cart this weekend, but how does the top not fall off the cart?
What stops it sliding off?

I built one on Saturday. I used two blocks in the rear and it levels nicely. I also screwed blocks vertically on the front to keep it from sliding.

I am going to build one too. I want to try and incorporate a door dolly that will go in the middle. I hung my doors last summer and did not like how the window moldings were dented. And yes, there was a lot of padding for them to rest on.

I will try and post a picture of my door dolly tonight. This thread convinced me to make a cart for the top and I thought the same thing, why not one for the doors as well. I like how I can roll it up to each side of the Jeep and place the doors right on the cart. I ended up with two heavy duty plastic Coca Cola crates for free and used them as the base for each cart (top cart and door cart). Mounted a set of wheels from two moving dolly kits from Lowes and I was off, especially since my base was already complete just from adding wheels. For the door cart I used PVC that inserted into the openings of the top of the crate. Worked out great. Made three upside downs "U"s that inserted into the slots. Covered them with foam insulation wrap and the doors lean up against it great.

Great thread , I will need to build one this summer. Just a thought maybe a old pallet would work by just pulling out a couple boards.

I made mine to be a cart, and then to winch up in the ceiling of my garage.
