I saw a lot of you post how to turn off esp for good but if you shift in 4 hi and hold the traction control it turns it off until you shift back into 2wd. Or at least that's how my 2013 jku works

Hill start assist disable proceedure
copy and pasted from manual
HSA Off
If you wish to turn off the HSA system, follow this procedure:
1. Start with the engine off and vehicle in PARK (automatic transmission) or NEUTRAL with clutch out (manual transmission) with wheels straight. Apply parking brake on manual transmission vehicle.
2. Start the engine.
3. With the engine running, the brake applied, and the clutch out, rotate the steering wheel 180° counterclockwise from center.
4. Press the ESP OFF switch four times within twenty seconds.
5. Rotate the steering wheel 360° clockwise (180° clockwise from center).
6. Cycle ignition switch OFF then ON.
7. If the sequence was completed properly, the “ESP/ TCS Indicator Light” will blink several times to confirm HSA is off.
Steps 1-7 must be completed within 90 seconds to turn off HSA. Repeat steps 1-7 to re-enable HSA functionality.

Yea yea, a couple of old posts, if you guys are still around .... The audible alarm can be turned off by the dealer for the dog in the front seat thing., the dash light would still light up though. One way to get rid of both, seat belt extenders, the system just wants something plugged in 
.
.
The sole reason for them seems to be to stop the seatbelt ding. I see these all over the websites that sell cheap products from china.

Wondering if anyone in JK land has written any JK PIDs for the Torque App. There is a whole PID list for the Prius that lets you reset lots of things with the App, seat belt chimes, back up alarm, etc.

You have to use what is called a mygig lockpick. They aren't cheap but they do work well. I have had mine in for a couple of years and never had a problem. Just upgraded my whole system so I don't need to use it now.
