Turn seatbelt chime OFF COMPLETELY!!!
1. turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, and buckle your seat belt while sitting in the drivers seat.
2. turn the ignition key to the ACCESSORY/RUN position (engine does not need to be running), and wait for the seat belt warning light to turn off.
3. unbuckle and then re-buckle your seat belt at least three times within 10 seconds, ending with theseat belt buckled. then start the jeep.
4. turn the ignition key to the OFF position. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming.
Next time you start the jeep, you’ll hear the initial fasten seat belt chimes, but the continuous chiming reminder will be turned off. the light in the dash will remain on, though.

Lol, I just disabled my seat belt gong today, and purposely drove someplace unbuckled to test it. I usually wear it, but I just don't like being hounded by the damn chime....I'll put it on when I'm damn good and ready! (and hopefully still alive). Anyways thanks for this thread and Mopar's easy mods. Wish my BMW was like this jeep! (You need to re-code BMWs for even the simplest changes).

Yea this one on an '07...can't pay a dealer for this silliness. Never understood this anyways....right when your starter motor needs all the cranking amps it can get from the battery, both headlights are on...

The wiring tricks I recommend anyone interested in go for if you haven't done them yet: The ESP kill switch, and wiring fender marker lights into front turn signals, and disable seat belt chime. All very easy, each takes less than an 45 min to complete.
