Default I think...

... Because my steering wheel is uncentered I am not able to do this? I tried it most of Friday morning.

Steering wheel really needs to be centered anyway so you might as well center it and then try the disable dance again. Lots of threads here about how to center the wheel. Takes one wrench and 10 minutes.

All I do is unplug the wire leaving the strap connected so I don't accidenitly push the door open too wide. I don't move the red locking pin to the left when it's plugging it; I leave it in the right (remove) position all the time; never had it come unplugged.

There's an opening on the edge of the door where the latch is exposed. Take a screwdriver and trip the latch while the door is open. Just use the screwdriver to do what the striker would do if you closed the door against the door post. That will trip the switch and make the system think the door is closed. No chime!

When you want to close the door, just release the latch with the door handle same as you would if the door were closed. If you forget to release the latch and try to close the door it will just thunk instead of latching to remind you. No harm done.

This works like a charm and doesn't require anything but a screwdriver or similar tool.

yup it's official... can't get all doors to unlock at the first click. code doesn't work

The. You've done something wrong did this over a year ago and still wrks try agin u maybe have held too long
