You can buy a 3 foot piece of 1/8 in thick , 3/4 in wide aluminum at Home Depot, Lowe's etc., cut it with a hack saw or Dremel, and I just bent it in a bench vise. Very simple.

I'm just saying if you don't have a garage, with anything more than a socket set like myself, this can be done as well. The custom route like yours is a much better fit and can be customized for specific wheels and tires. Nice MacGyver skills.

Yes, I'm merely saying that this does not take complicated tools (the whole reason that I was able to do it) and can save you $60. Either way works accomplishes the goal. I'm just trying to help the do it yourselfers out.
I'll get some pics up of it taken apart today.
