Great idea! I had just hung mine from the windshield hold-down bar, but the constant clicking as it swings is driving me nuts! Now I know what I'll be doing tomorrow....

i just slid mine in the roll bar padding above the left side of my head.

Very cool. I have same opener and will try tomorrow. Only negative I see is you have to tear apart each time battery dies. Anyone know what spray paint color is closest to our interior so I can paint the button to match?

Got this done last night. I have a 2 button remote and it still fit and I'm able to use both buttons.

Going out to the garage to do this now. Thanks!!!

I'm going to use a black sharpie on the button instead of paint... that should do the trick.

Nice mod. But what happens when you have 2 or 3 garage doors?

I have the little Genie keychain remote that I velcroed under the steering column. Can't see it unless you look for it.

anyone ever install a Homelink mirror?
