NICE!!! I just ran out and did this one. came out GREAT! I was looking for a good place to put that remote. Plus, I hate that a criminal can open the garage door just by breaking into the cars parked in the driveway (which my JK often is with 3 cars). So now with this hidden location, I bet no one would ever know!

THANKS!!!!!!!!!

That is as slick a mod as I have seen on here, great work! I wish mine would work that way, it is a MUCH more elegant solution than mine.

Mine is just hidden inside the top of the rollbar cover (There is a flat area where the padding ends and it creates a loose pocket in the fabrick. It is completely invisible and you can feel the button through the roll bar fabric. It is high enough to get great range.

Default Did this today...

I did this mod today using the same opener. Used duct tape to hold it in place and placed some firm foam, pipe insulation, behind it. Once you screw it back up the opener rests on top of the lower hole post and the foam holds it firmly in place. Took about ten mins.

Cool mod!

I did this mod and it works great!! I placed velcro on both sides of the remote and it is held firmly in place.

The only problem is I'm still looking around for the remote wondering where the heck I left it as I pull up my driveway Then I calmly reach over press the button and grin!
