Default Will 33s fit Stock Jk Suspension

I currently own a 2008 Sahara 2 door with stock suspension. I have finally saved enough money to get new wheels and tires. I was looking at getting Nitto Trail Grapplers in 285/70R17 and getting Mickey Thompson wheels in 17x9 with 4.5 inch Back Space (-12 offset). Would I have any issues with rubbing? I will be getting a 3.5-inch lift a little down the road but for now, I need to replace my tires and wheels. What do you guys all think? I know for me at least this can be very confusing with the offset and backspacing.

Just driving around you should be fine, running off road disconnected at full articulation its going to rub the fenders without some bump stop.

Absolutely! I was looking at the Toyo open country but ended up getting a whale of a deal on some Falken Wildpeak AT3. I got them in 275/70/18 on my Sahara wheels. I have an 09 JK X it came with the Sahara wheels. No spacers yet and it does rub at full lock. BUT u turns aren't terrible, highway riding is fine. When you disconnect off road it bites really bad so be prepared to get some aftermarket fenders. I broke mine flexing the other day. They look mean and are quiet so it's a plus!

Yes. I’m running 275/60/20 (33’s) with stock suspension. It’s perfertly fine for every day driving but would rub off-roading.
