IMHO all M/T's will suck on wetter slushy snow and ice! The biggest reason for this is the M/T's very little to no sipping and very hard rubber compound! I have run Toyo M/T's, BFG M/T KM & Cooper STT and they all suck on wet slushy snow and ice...poor traction and stopping! Thus the reason I switch out my M/T's for a True M&S tire Cooper Discoverer M&S with studs during the winter months
I had a set of the older BFG MT's siped at Kaltire, they were the best winter tire I ever had and they had about 135'000KM on the clock before they were finnished...a MT siped is the best of both worlds IMHO...
