YEAH! i was just wondering this. i've heard of alot of jiggling here and there, and even heard an eventual bracket breakage, but buying one of the spare tire mount brackets should solve the problem no?

Get a frame/bumper supported tire swing.

This so reminds me of my 87 YJ, the tailgate actually split the metal just above the mount, and that was from only a stock tire, bike rack and single track mountain bike.

sounds like its necessary, makes me think twice about going that big.

Not the best up close pics, but.. 4" lift, 35" BFG mud terrains w/ 17" micky thompson pro comps in black. it makes my Trailblazer look small now. Trailblazer is slightly faster.
