I was talkin to a guy today and he asked me what I had under my jeep (he had a tj with 40's) and I told him 2.5" with 35's and the only thing he told me was we got about 10 more inches to go... I feel like my jk is little

That's the way the AEV carrier is made. Makes it easier to get to the tailgate handle when a larger tire is mounted.

are they blind? why would they not center it?
