I was thinking the 3.73 and a auto would be worse too.

If you do decide you need more power, the SuperChips Flashpaq will NOT let you down.

im just waiting for the 2011 update then i will pull the trigger because the wife said tonight that the 35's are too small. she said it needs 37's, 4inches, and front D44. then i would regear to 5.38's. Lord God thank you for giving me the best wife!

I'm about to put 35's on my sahara and get the flashpaq. I like these kinds of comments because they make me feel like I can hold off on dropping a grand on regearing.

Ehhh I don't know about that. I have 33" duratracs, black rock steelies, 3.73s and a flashpaq. It's just barely liveable with this setup. Granted i'm only running the 87 octane tune, but I also have intake and exhaust on the jeep. I really don't think the flashpaq alone is going to give enough power back to make up for the added rotating mass of the 35's. Maybe I just have higher performance expectations than most people but my jeep still feels pretty sluggish. I know when I make the step up to 35's, the jeep will be getting a full regear.

hehe, yeah I'm running 315/75-R16's (35's), and I have stock 3.73 gearing. After doing the flashpaq, my Jeep pulls hard from a stop, and man third gear is so awesome! Getting on the highway now is so easy. I'm at 70MPH in no time.

I think you did it wrong. There may be better options for you with a CAI and exhaust, that may be why the general 87 tune isn't doing it for you. I did the 87 tune as well, and the power difference is huge. Very very noticable power gains, and my Jeep pulls off the line so much faster than it did. It also lost that sluggish start that the stock Jeeps have.
