Sweet jeeps. I think the teraflex 2.5 lift looks great with 33's!

hello guys , how you all doing ? i hope gr8

any how am a new proud owner of wrangler 07 2doors an am lovin it so far my 1st jeep and its freaking awesome and now am planing to get some wild shoes for my ride, am soo noob about back spacing thing is a part you buy or something

here is what am looking at 17x9 offset 0 and 16x8 same offset , thats what i saw written on the wheel and yeah i want to keep everything else stock cause i dont go off-road at all jus cursing around so guys please help me which is best and the best tyre size gonna be 285 70 for 17 or 285 75 16 and the big Q will it rub

Congrats on the new Jeep.
I think you would want to go with a wheel with a negative offset, makes your wheel look deeper. 0 offset will place the backside of the wheels hub in the middle of the wheel. A positive offset will move the hub to the outside of the wheel and negative will move the hub to the inside. Factory wheels are +44.45
for reference. my wheels are -44 offset. i would not go with a positive offset because 285's rub the from swaybar on tight turns with stock wheels. also a 9 inch wide wheel with 0 offset will have a 5 inch back space and an 8 inch wide wheel with 0 offset will have a 4.5 inch backspace.

A 9" wheel with 0 offset will stick out 2.5" farther than stock, bringing it just a about 1" past the fender. That sounds perfect, IMO.

To maintain this look, an 8" wheel will need -13mm offset and 8.5" needs -6mm.

man you have been very very very help full thanks a lot bro i didnt know what was the off set about till now

and yeah i got lucky and bought xtreme pro comb 16x8 with 0 offset and 4.5 bs
and 285 75 16 gt raidel adventure tires
