OK, I finally got my 33's installed yesterday.

They are 33x12.5x17 Cooper Discover ST's. I have a 2" Full Traction BB to make room and wheel spacers should be here within a few days.

And a little dirty shot :

I really dig these tires. They are not quite as aggresive as most MTs, but look much more rugged than most ATs. Your jeep looks great.

Yea' I really wanted MT's but thought they would be a little nuts for a daily driver, but at the same time did not want to go too mild. I think these are a perfect balance for the street and trail. I suppose the real test will be to see how well they do at Rausch Creek (my local off roading spot). They do ride somewhat harder than the Goodyear SRA's and make some road noise, but nothing too bad. I have had BFG MT's on a previous Jeep and they were noisy as hell and rode like a tank on the street.

Thanks for the comment.

I wanted the STT's as well, but I couldn't pass up the amazing deal I got on the ST's. I "stole" the set of 5 for $360 installed! Plus buy the time these are worn out, the Jeep might no longer be the daily driver, then I can go nuts and get some 37's MT's. In the mean time, I really like the way they look and I know they are a major upgrade to my SRA's. I am sure they will do amazing off road, especially since I am not really into mud anyway, I mostly stick to the rocky trails.

Do you have a photo of your JK posted? If so, send me a link. I see you are not too far from Rausch Creek, maybe we can meet up for a trail ride sometime soon with some of the other members?
