I have no issues at all. I have 285/70/17 with 3:21 gearing in my two door. Gas mileage did not drop much, no issues gearing, and I have been able to apply the skinny pedal enough to make noise on pavement . I have not had issues on rubbing either. They are a great tire! I will buy them again when needed.

Guess I could have offered a little more info. Lol. It's a 2012 sport. I was able to get a nice set of JKUR take offs, which yielded me just a tad over 2" of lift. After the lift was in place, these tires were installed. I then cut my fender to offer more clearance.
At full turn, I have 0 rub. These tires are quite and handle very well on road and in the mud. Seeing that I live on the east coast of NC, my rig will see a lot of sand.
Upgrading to a longer travel shock and poison Spyder bumpers. I think it will look great with these 33"

I'm a newbie here and new to the build thing. I have a 2011 Wrangler Sport. Just upgraded to Goodyear Duratrac 275 70 18 tires. Jeep is stock other than the tire size increase and I have noticed rubbing when turning sharp. Considering 1.5" wheel spacers or a 2" lift or both. Also noticed a slight HP decrease and slight gas mileage decrease but I'm thinking that's normal due to the larger tires. Any advice would be awesome.

A nice rim with a better back stop than stock will cut that right on out. As far as power, the V6 3.6 has no troubles pushing mine at all. Hit 5th gear no problem. Had it up to ummmmmm since I'm a popo, I ummmmm had it to 57 mph and it did just fine. Passing gear still works well with these tires too. I will likely use a procal at some point. But, as a few have driven mine says it's still really peppy.
