33s on 20s!
Just put new 305/55/20 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 on 20x10 Black Rhino Sierra Wheels. Then added the Teraflex 1.5 in. leveling kit and removed the brown Sahara stickers to finish it off. Very happy with how this turned out. I know some hate on the 20's, but I love these. Glad I didn't go smaller. Tire spec is 33.5 inches, and they ended up at 32.75 under load. Used the Procal to calibrate the speedo, and gas mileage looks to be in the 16.5 range (was about 18 prior on stock wheels/tires

20" tires and wheels on a Jeep are real pretty, and that is great if that is what you are going for. They are also easier to balance and smoother on highway. Their problem comes when you try to air them down for off road use. The rims are easily damaged and the tires come off the beads more easily.

The reality is that the heaviest off road use this thing will see is some light timber and an occasional level b dirt road, so the 20s should be safe! As much as I would love to have a true off-road machine, this one won't be the one. That will be Jeep #2 as soon as it fits in the budget!

Popping in for a quick question about 33s I have a 2 door Sahara with the 18in rims. Will I need wheel spacers for stock 18s and 33s or should I be ok?

It really depends on how much rubbing you can tolerate. I had a friend with 285s on stock 17s, and he had minor rubbing the front sway bar, nothing more.
He could live with that. In his place, I wouldn't have. Still, you don't HAVE to have them from a safety or functionality standpoint.

I have a 2 door rubicon with stock wheels. I run 285/70 R17 tires with no rubbing. I did add 2 washers to the steering stops before I bought the tires just in case and never bothered to remove one or both and check for rubbing.

How much extreme articulation have you done? Disconnected?

That's a great look! 33s on 15s with a 2.5" lift on a two door is just about perfect. I've got a 4 door, so I needed 35s to look right, but I love the 33s on a two door. That'll be my next Jeep, since my kids are hitting the driving ages themselves ;-)
