There are myriad threads throughout JKF on this exact topic, so searching other threads would be your best bet. Others will chime in, but the best thing to do is figure out what your objective is. A few questions I would start out answering are:

1. Is this going to be a DD?
2. How often are you going to wheel it?
3. Are you going to want 35's at any point down the road?
4. What is your lift budget and will that change?

Once you have answered these basic questions, you will be able to search for a lift that meets your needs. Just as an FYI, you can run 33" without a lift in most cases, but you may have some rubbing at full turn. I hope this helps and start your search. This is where things get really fun and confusing and expensive and.......well you get the idea

^ spot on.

If you'll never run 35's and you know it for a FACT, 33's with proper back spaced wheels or wheel spacers will be fine. If you even think there's a snowballs chance in hell you'll run 35's, look at ~2.5 of lift and 4.5" back spaced wheels to plan for the future.

Answer 08GreenRubi's questions and we can turn you back in the right direction.

Thanks a lot chief! I have the rear bumper in order and will be stubby-ing the front for now. All that's left for this round of mods is rock sliders and tint. Trying to keep it as light as possible.
