Here's mine with 285/70R17 DuraTracs and TF Coil Levelling kit. I get some decent fender rub with this wheel/tire combo, gonna have to upgrade to 2.5" lift, or maybe flat fenders...

I think with flat fenders, it would look bad assed!

Default I'd love to but they gave me 32's instead.

Just letting everyone out there who cares know about these guys in Vaughan Ontario selling tires. After a long wait and search, I'd decided not to get a lift and get the biggest tire I could wrapped around the Mickey Thompson ATAZ P3's. I was pretty sure I'd settle on 285/70/17's but they installed 265/70/17's, now they won't switch 'em out.

Read about it here, My Tire District Experience | One guy's trip into a consumer experience nightmare. and let anyone in the GTA know how these guys treat a Jeeper.

Thanks.

Damn that sucks!! You would think that they would recognize their mistake and rectify it. Sounds like a shady business and I would certainly stay away. Have you gotten anywhere with them?

Nope. They said because I drove away before noticing that they won't change them. That's why I'm resorting to letting people know. They had the chance to fix the problem but won't. I did get some cash back, essentially the difference for what I paid for and what they switched me to. The guys said it was easier for him to give me $ instead of correcting their mistake. I'm not happy. I mean I wait for 2 years to buy bigger tires and I end up with smaller than OE.

I've added sharing links to the blog about this…. please share with friends. Thanks. My Tire District Experience | One guy's trip into a consumer experience nightmare. My hope is they'll see the error in their approach and right this, for which I'd happily tell everyone about it. It's up to them.

Go into the Better Business Bureau and put a complaint, thats how you can really do some damage to this type of unethical work practices. Good Luck

Instead of a leveling kit has anyone upgraded their springs from stock to like 18/59 with rubicon shocks? Would that be a better option than a leveling kit? Thanks!

I did this on my two door and it rides stiff but to each their own. It will raise you up by 1 1/2-2".

Just 18/59's won't level it out. You will still need at least a 3/4 inch coil spacer for the front to raise it up level with the rear.

I have done this on 2 JK's and they both came out perfectly level.

This is what I did on my jeep. It isn't perfectly level but it's pretty darn close. I was happy with the outcome for what I paid for everything. $90 for springs and got the shocks for free.
