Glad I found this forum and thread. It's helped me pick out a new wheel/tire combo that should be here next week. Here's what I've been running for the past 3-1/2 years. 325/60r18 Terra Grapplers on Moto Metal wheels. They have 60k miles on them and it's time for something different.

I was wondering with the slight rubbing I am experiencing is there a way to control the amount of turn I have when turning the steering wheel left or right? My mechanic is not recommending spacers and wasn't a fan of what I am asking before. Any assistance recommendations would be great.

There are adjustable steering stops on the outer knuckles.

I can't find any information on a 285/75/17 on Goodyear's site. Are you sure they aren't 285/70/17?
