I have a 2.5" on 33's and feel it somewhat makes tires looks small. From a far at least, but close up seems alright
I like the 35" set up right now. Aesthetically it matches the unlimiteds better IMO. No flex issues thus far. My bump stops do a good job preventing any rubbing of the fenders...

Thinking sometime this summer depending on the funds of getting 33's on my unlimited x. I have heard that you do not need a lift to accommodate this setup. IF I was to consider a lift what's the minimum size lift that I would need to accommodate 35's?
I think I am going to stay with the idea of 33's. I don't plan on doing a ton of off-roading maybe some camping and beach driving. Also if I do go with 33's do I need to recalibrate my speedometer and will I see a huge difference in mpg's? Thanks for all your guidance.

33's will fit just fine on a stock JK, but depending on the width of the tire you may require some tweaking. If you are buying these to put on your jeep rims then they may rub depending on the size. Getting new rims and or wheel spacers will prevent that.
I recently upgraded to 33's, 285/70/17 and they did fit on my factory wheels without issues, but rubbed with tight turns. Spidertrax wheel spacers solved that. For two weeks I drove my jeep without recalibrating for the new size. Speedometer was slightly off as were my shift points (I drive automatic) so it had a bit of hard time shifting gears when I wanted it to. After the recalibration was fine, I lost about 2mpg on average.

Awesome information! I was trying to stay with the original rims. I take I would only need spacers in the front?
