im looking at getting some 20's with 33's. i would like to know opinions before i get them. I dont really have a certain style set yet but i have a 2010 JKU its bright silver and it is my daily driver with offroading being limited.

Will you be offroading much? If so, consider rim sizes such as 15" - 18" instead. You will see mixed opinions saying that 20s will look proportionally better running 37s or higher (I am with that group). If its more for show / mall (no offense) then I guess that combo will give it that intended look.

33s is a pretty small tire and have less sidewalls and with 20s it will almost look like your running low profile tires (more rim then rubber)

No offense taken. I would love to offroad every weekend and get into some nasty stuff but me being only 24 with a family and an ok paying job and not having a 2nd vehicle, i cant afford to fix my jeep right away if i fix it so i cant do as much off roading as i want too. On the other hand i was wondering how "streched" the 33's would look on 20's. I have had 20's and 35's before but not on a jeep. I would def. be getting 18's because i dont like to look of small rims. Could i run 17's or 18's with 33's (with the proper backspacing of course) without a lift for now?

A stock Jeep (2dr or 4dr) can run 33s with no problem if you have the correct backspacing (aftermarket wheels) or wheel spacers (stock wheels) to help with the rubbing problem. And as for the wheel size question, just know that the basic rule with rim sizing is, the bigger the rim diameter the more expensive the tire for that rim size will be. Just to let you know since that seems to be a deciding factor for a lot of wheel and tire combo questions.

Welcome to the forum by the way!

....Since you mentioned the cost of having to fix your Jeep when something breaks, also look into the cost of purchasing rims/tires between 18" VS 20" the 20s will definitely cost more in the initial purchase and when it comes time to replace the worn out rubber. Below are some pics I got from this forum. Also like what was mentioned before 33s can fit with little to no lift.

18s with 33s

17s with 33s

20s with 35s (I may be wrong, but if those are 35s look at the sidewall height) imagine 20s with 33s

My Rubi with 33s, it only has 1" TF front coil spacers to give that leveled look

thanks for the welcome and the quick responses. I figured that since they have 20's and larger stock on some vehicles they would be going down in price but i remember that i had 35x12.50/20 on my truck before i got the 2nd love of my life (my jeep) and they looked good

That is perfect, thanks for the comparison shot. My wheels and tires go on Wednesday. Looks great!

Here a picture of my Jeep with Teraflex leveling kit and Duratracs 275/70R18 on stock Altitude wheels - (wheels are for sale)

I have since upgraded to an AEV 2.5" lift and AEV Pintlers with Nittos 285/75R17 - which I think is the perfect combo (no picutres yet)
