Mine are sitting in the garage waiting on the new wheels to come in.

Not a big difference in height but a world of difference in the look of the jk! 33's on the MB Chaos 5 wheel. No lift, I think I'll wait for the 35's before I lift it.

I think a 2" lift is perfect with 33s. I ran it stock height with my 33s and it just looked like it was a "lowrider". 2" later I am happy as can be and now am contemplating 33s to 34s.

In my opinion, the Rubicon should come stock with a 2" lift and 33s.

Default Need Advice...what do you think?

Thinking about getting the following:
33 Duratracs
18x9 Ultra Drifters
Readylift 69-6000 SST Mild Lift Kit

Will this all go well?
Not sure the exact spec on the tires. I have stock JK Sahara now. (18" wheel) I want a bigger and wider and more aggressive look for the wheels.

Do I need spacers for the wheels? Will the lift be enough?

You'll need at least a 1" spacer on all four corners. This wheel has 5.5" backspace. You'll need 4.5".

You can do this, but getting aftermarket wheels AND getting spacers is a lot of modding just to run 33's. You could just as easy bump up to 35's and find a 17" wheel with proper backspacing and come out at the same price point (if you get an adapter for the spare rather than a full rear bumper/tire carrier).

Is this not a good wheel choice for the tire is that what you mean?

Also, I hear that 35s will make the JK feel like a dog. too big without re-gearing?

Not just a decline in power, the 35s will be harder on suspension parts, brakes, and of course your tailgate.

But it's all relative to how you intend to use your Jeep. If running off-road is your passion, then the 35s and up make more sense. If you are just wheeling occasionally, and you are more focused on street and light trail performance, then 33s are a good choice. And in spite of what some will say, the 33s are noticeably bigger than the stock tires and are a definite improvement (and they're cheaper).
