[Moved from Toyo AT 285/75/17s to Duratrac 285/70/17s]
Troyboy, I am trying to decide between the 285/75 toyo/nitto AT tire or the 285/70 duratrac. Could you give a little comparison between the two? CM

I was very nervous about getting duratracs because I tried a toyo MT tire before that were supposed to be quiet and they drove me crazy. However duratracs are ATs that look like MTs. They are snow rated, quieter than the toyo MTs that I tried and behave nicely on the road.
I can't say how they are off road yet but I hear they are nice but perhaps have a weak sidewall. The odd time I go off road is mainly on old logging roads so I think they will be fine.
So far I am very happy with my duratracs.

Posted these in the red thread also.
285/75 Falken Rocky Mountains on stock 16s. No lift. Ran no spacers the first month and rubbed only tight turns. now have 1.5" spacers with no rub.
