well I posted up here back in August of last year, but just wanted to show the Jeep as of present and prove you can still have a lot of fun with 33's!

When the Duratracs were mounted in Aug 2010

Since things have thawed out this Spring

Dude, I love your jolly Roger sticker! I've been looking for a good sized one to stick on mine, but all I seem to find are 3"x5" magnets. Where'd you get yours?

So tell me, what made you choose 33s instead of 35s?

I'm debating between the 2 sizes since they seem to be very similar in price. Do I go with better MPG on my DD or improved off-road performance?

Decisions, decisions...

The way I saw it I didn't want to spend the $$$ to regear right up front. Wouldn't necessarily trust the stock tire carrier with the added weight for very long so there was the cost of new bumper/carrier too. So I did the 33's and have been chipping away at everything else since then ( skids, lights, exhaust, bumpers, winch, recovery and the list goes on...). I'll end up with 35's I'm sure once these wear down, but in the meantime I've been able to do all this in pieces while still rocking out on 33's and not having a bigger coast right up front. Just made sense IMO.

Love the set-up - do you have spacers?

Looks good and like you might have a small lift on there (could just be the angle though). Whats the suspension setup?

Cool. That's the setup I plan to go with for a while as well. Leveling kit with 15" MB72s and Duratracs.
