I'm still working on getting out to the garage to get your measurement but I've jumped onto a newer tire and I'm enjoying it so far. It's got a beefy look to it and it churns through the clay here in TN without issue. They've got a little noise on the highway but about what you would expect of a mud tire without the howl of a bogger. Mickey Thompson Baja Pro. I don't know how long they'll last but I was more interested in performance without killing the daily driver function. They claim to be similarly weighted to a BFG all terrain of the same size. The weight is what kept me away from the Maxxis and other tires when I was going 35. They're also load range D so they should be a softer ride than the alleged terrible ride of E's, though I hadn't had issues with E's.

Sorry, wrong name- they're actually the Baja Boss. The pro are sticky and they're only available in larger sizes (40"+).

A couple of other good looking mud tires are the Gladiator X-Comp M/T and the Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003. I have been running a smaller version of the Yokohama G003 tire on my FJ Cruiser for a couple of years with good results.

Yep it looks good and performs very, very well too. The center strip seems to muffle the typical road noise that most mud tires make, so it's not silent but really well behaved on the road. I air down to 12 psi. and the Kevlar sides have kept me protected when other members in my group got rock punctures (anecdotal I know, but it seems to happen a lot to other people and not to me).
