33's on stock wheels???
So I took the springs from a 4 door hard top tow package equipped rubicon and put them on my 2 door rubicon also running the hard top and it came with the tow package as well, I got just over 1 3/4" height gain in the front and about 1 1/2" height in the rear and it seems like that gives me enough room to maintain articulation but my main question is will 33's fit on the stock rim and be able to be turned lock to lock without rubbing or will it rub without spacers? I'm not really wanting to get spacers as when I get enough saved up for a proper lift kit I'm going to be going with 35 mud terrains, but this is how I get to work and due to the nature of my work I only get to go out and have fun once a month or so the rest of the time its about 300 miles a week on the hwy and I really don't want to chew up a good set of MT's on that.

you need spacers with 295/70-17 which are 33's and with 285/75-17 which are 34's. you will rub on your front swaybar up front when turning and you will be close to your rear control arms. If just driving on the highway you will be fine it is when offroad that it becomes an issue.

I have the same "lift" (4dr springs on a 2dr) with 285/70/17 tires (32.8") on stock 17" wheels.
I had to add 1.5" wheel spacers to clear the rear swaybars and flat fenders for full flex with front swaybar disconnected.
EDIT to add: Be SURE to recalibrate for tire size if you have an automatic transmission since it changes the shift points pretty dramatically.

2" spacer lift. Your post was lock to lock rubbing so the washers eliminate that. 2" lift prevented rubbing the fenders. Can't answer that for your setup. My guess is you should be ok.

Ya, I had a bit of "DOH!" moment with the washers is there a noticeable difference in the turning radius? I'm asking because some the trails I do take I can make the turns but its pretty tight and my friend with a 4 door has to pretty much make it a 3 point turn.
