Default 2017 JKU wheel/Tire help.

I just purchased a 2017 JKU Sport. I was looking into getting this set up 17x9 Black Level 8 Strike 5's 4.53 BS , 5x5 -12mm mounted / balanced on LT285/70R17 Toyo Open Country A/T II's would this set up work with no lift? I will be getting a Terra Flex leveling kit but wanted to order the wheel package first. Thanks for the help. I had a 2011 JK a few years back but been out of the game a few years.

You may want to fully cycle the suspension to see if you need to add bump stops to keep the tires from crashing into your fenders.

Nothing in the suspension has changed. They'll fit and under articulation you'll scrub your fender flares.

Cut the flares or add bump stops (lose travel), but cycling as mentioned above would be best bet. Is this a street rig or rock crawler? Should still be ok unless u plan to rock ur jeep hard. Guessing by mentioning a spacer lift, u aren't planning on wheeling it like that.

And 285/70 should be ok. If u went 285/75 then of course there could be issues. As long as u get 4.5 BS, it should work under most circumstances.

It's more of a street rig this time around. My last JK 2 door pic in sig had everything and anything done to it. This JKU will be more street then off road.

I recently did 285/75R17 Toyo AT2 with no lift and the same specs on the wheels I went with. So with 70s you will have more clearance than I do. No rubbing on road, but expect to lose most of your up travel in the rear as it rubs the fenders with mild off reading (crossing a ditch for example). Nothing a lift won't fix when the snow thaws but just so you know what your getting in to.
