Another newb question, but what does the adapter do? Is that the same as a spacer kit, because i've been told that I would need one of those.

It's not a spacer. Its an adapter that brings the spare up and out enough to make it fit properly. It works great. I have one on mine a spacer is $100 a pr. this is only $25 It goes between the rim and the carrier.

1800 is an awesome deal and I finally convinced myself to get 35's, but my DC1's just arrived today. I was gonna order them from you because when I ordered them they were on backorder. But they got here sooner than expected. Sorry to back out. Good luck with the sale.
