Quick question - I think you may have spooled your winch backwards. I thought the red part of the cable was suppose to come last? Warn you when you were about to run out?

the winch came like that from the store but you might be right. I also read somewhere that the red part is suppose to warn you that your almost at the hook and to slow down the spoolling. Anybody else have the same winch so we can compare?

I have the same winch. It's got a red section at the beginning and at the end. Any problems mounting that winch in the LOD bumper? I know that it won't fit in some bumpers. I'm probably going to order the Shrockworks Mid width in the spring, but I hear you have to modify it a bit to make that winch fit. Great pics.
