Default NorCal JK Snow Run

Well, Liz and Tony should be posting up some pics and video, but I'll start it out with a shot of mine from yesterday's run. Lots of fresh snow and snowed all day as well. Just over an hour's drive for us from Sacramento to get to the hills. Of course the Toyota Tundra with us was the first stuck and later in the day Liz's Rubi bailed out a wayward Toyota on one of the main roads.
Everyone had a great time and the JKs did well in the white stuff.

We proved to Jake that Jeeps win hands down over Toyota's in the snow didn't we

I look forward to doing it again - Passed China Wall would be cool and maybe we could round up some more Jeeps?

Here are some that I grabbed from my video:

Looks like everyone had fun except for the Yota...
Jake had fun- he might have gotten a bit frustrated because he needs lower gears- but He was smiling.
...I was careful not to razz him too much- but I just had to a little- Jake was just so sure he was going to have to pull one of us JK's out.

We took Finning Mill road- It is a logging road that ends up at Sugar Pine Lake.
It's dirt and they don't plow most of it.

Past China wall is another fun Road to take in the snow- It goes all the way up to the back side of Lake Tahoe (though we have never been that far in the snow).

Yeah, I grew up in PA and can only remember a few snows this high while growing up. By the time I was in college if we got more than one snow 6-8 inches it was a "bad" winter! This snow close by to Sacramento is all I need. I don't miss the PA long winters just the snow

There were actually a few tracks laid down before us so it was pretty clear. Some of Liz's photos are from more open areas where we just played around.
