so i decided to run crown king in az yesterday. it was a blast. i was the only vehical, but two friends came with me. It start all the way down in the dessert of pheonix, and ends in the snowed out town of crown king!!

there was terrible weather, startted off in pouring rain, then sleet, then a blizzered, when we got closer to town it died of and let goof of in the snow a bit. but the wet conditions made everything real slippery!

Nice pics, but going alone on the CK trail, especially in bad weather, is not cool. Your lucky all you broke was your sway bar link. Had it been something more serious, you would of had a very long walk out in crappy weather.

Glad you made it home safe without being on the evening news....

Preston... have you been up there since the big rains back in January? The trail has gotten a lot more interesting. Check out some of the pics on VJC if you haven't already.

 

Sound advise but good for him for going. Sometimes company is a luxury you just don't have. If I had to go with someone everytime I went out I would hardly ever go. Plus sometimes you don't want everone in the Jeep club to know your favorite fishing hole
