Hey Noob! Great pictures! I was wondering about this trail, havent been there for a couple of years....I read on a different forum there was too much snow still. Well you just insprired my trip this Saturday to Forest Lake. Have you ever been to Mineral Basin? I havent been there yet but was going to the Basin if there was still too much snow! Let me know if you plan any other wheelin trips! I just live 15 minutes away from A.F. canyon!
I did drive up mineral basin and it was awsome! I didnt get pictures because my camera battery died, but the snow is melting so the trail is a river right now. I went a ways up before turning back because it was getting late. But it was fun too.
I'm going to have to take a detour up that way someday.
