Default American Fork Utah- Forest Lake 6/18/08

Took a little trip up American Fork Canyon today. This is a charming trail up to forest lake. Its not the most difficult but there were a few tight squeezes, rock gardens, river crossings, mud and snow. We are really lucky in utah, this canyon is only about a 30 min drive from my house! Any way here are the pictures!

First the trail / Obstacles:

Here is the lake:

Man i hate you. I envy any one out west. Just the scenery alone is worth going out there. One day maybe I'll make a trip

Hey Noob! Great pictures! I was wondering about this trail, havent been there for a couple of years....I read on a different forum there was too much snow still. Well you just insprired my trip this Saturday to Forest Lake. Have you ever been to Mineral Basin? I havent been there yet but was going to the Basin if there was still too much snow! Let me know if you plan any other wheelin trips! I just live 15 minutes away from A.F. canyon!

Your gonna have to take me up some of those great Utah trails next time I go visit my in-laws in Alpine.

Better let me know when you come. I give Logan a bad time about his little friend from the campground (sorry forgot your daughters name).

I'm jealous of everyone that lives in UT and I only live 2 hours from the Rubicon
