The time thing is what's really selling the Rubi over the X. Not gonna want a lot of down time or time messing with tweeking a build.
After lots and lots of thought that's what I'm leaning towards.
1. Fixing water pump and cat. $150 parts and $160 labor.
2. Sell the ZJ on Craig's list, hoping for $3000.
3. Get the JK Rubi Unlimited.
Just need to find the right one, decide on trans, and haggle some options.
