Well My wife called me and said her Grand Cherokee Overland sounded like it was dragging a bunch of cans under it. I told her to pull it over and I went to check it out. I ran the codes on it and it was clear. I then checked all the fluids and everything was in order. I then droved it 200 ft to the jeep dealership to get it checked. Well after about 4 hours they recovered a 13 mm Matco socket and 3 torque converter bolts out of the bell housing. Well the dealership that did the service work on the GC fessed up to a mistake but didn't admit to the issue. They owned the damages and gave us what we wanted plus 1600 dollars for the trade in on a new vehicle.
Fair warning for all you. Don't let your wife drive your rubicons. It will make them wat one for them selves. We are the proud owner of a new JK Unlimited Rubicon. We are a 2 Rubi family.

Might have had a little to do with my wife pissing the tech off for calling her a liar to her face. They got into it after he called her a liar. I got her out of there and went back to get the issue fixed. They said she had tried to repair a problem with her door using the wrong wire. Now don't get me wrong my wife has a PHD but not in vehicle wiring. She could not tell you the diffrence in 14g to 16 g. This tech said she messed up the vehicle wiring. HAHAHA. So I gues he got her back. Or so he thought. His mistake was replacing the socket the next day with the matco truck.

After I got my 08 Rubi, my wife now wants to get her own. She just wants to get an X as she does not like the body colored flares on the Sahara's. So sometime early to mid 09, my wife will be trading off her minivan for an Unlimited X.

My wife says she's perfectly happy with her current 03 TJ Sport. Lately, however, she has been driving my 4dr JK more and more. Claims she needs the extra room. Now she's even begining to talk about when she buys her next Jeep, I'll get the TJ for an off road toy. At least it has a read D44 and the manual NV3550. And, dare I say, the 4.0 straight six
