It's not mine, but it is my wife's, she drives 12 miles one way and uses it for hauling the kids ect. She will only drive a Jeep, this is the 2nd JK she also had a KJ and an XJ and before that a Toyota with 33's. 4X4's all the way!

My Jeep is my DD, but I have a 6 mile commute to work so it is not that bad. I also have a Harley Vrod I ride as much as possible and I am considering getting a new DD. Possibly a Ford Ranger (27 mpg), Mini Cooper (37 mpg), or Ford Focus (40 mpg)...The Ranger will come in handy, the Mini will be fun, and the Focus will get great mpg's....

DD here... I put 9k miles in one year... my work commute is roughly 30 miles round trip. normally, I use my wife's Audi Q5 for everything else because of my 3 daughters and yorkie . I do love to drive around in the jeep though with no destination in mind .
