Your Dream Jeep

it wasn't a "see" thing. i think they are beautiful, sure, but in a paternal way.
it was wheeling mohawk in my buddie's YJ.
tooling around in my ex girlfriends scrambler. no top, no doors, no floorboards, in the rain.
bought my first new in 99, after my first overseas deployment, and haven't looked back.

I was hooked, as a kid, on the Scrambler - this borrowed pic takes me back!!
There's one in my neighborhood in great condition . It saddens me if it's not sitting out when I drive by!

I can remember as a kid seeing the fire departments CJ's and Scramblers in the local parades and thinking that was the coolest job with the coolest rides around. A CJ in FD Yellow? How cool is that? And of course, as others have posted, seeing Daisy Duke in her Jeep, well that just iced it for me!

so this past week i saw quite a few jeeps. i saw one that caught my eye awhile ago. its the "military version" i think it was an 05 or 06 option. with green wheels and military id numbers on the hood. looks pretty cool
