I've had an xj, tj, wk, and now a jku and have loved everyone of them. They ride terrible, get horrible gas mileage, and aren't really practical for anything but I'm pretty sure I will own one forever. I guess it's like they say. "it's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand"

I am one of those guys that is never really happy with a vehicle and end up trading often (too often according to the wife). The only vehicles out of the 50+ that I have owned that I regret getting rid of are : 1970 Camaro SS, 1986 Hurst Olds, 1990 454SS, 1981 Jeep Scrambler and 2002 Jeep TJ. So I now have a 2012 4 dr Rubi and I can't even think of what would have got me out of Jeeps for almost 10 years. I love it!!!!
in the garage which I have always had until recently. It's intended purpose was to use in inclement weather in Tulsa or drive on our land possibly to lake house. I have now driven that Jeep almost everyday since I got it it's like a magnant.
It has 2.5 lift and 35" tires rims and that's it but after looking over this site for a month or so my mod list is growing

That is going to be a long conversation my wife and I will have here shortly. She seems to think my Wrangler is her's... and i seem to think my Wrangler is mine!
She needs to get her own damn Wrangler!
I love My JKU but i knew what i was getting into before i got it. I had the pleasure to have a work trip rental for a whole month. Personality wise, it fits me!

Always
When I was a kid my Uncle (who spent a great deal of time in CO) had an old, beat-up, blue, CJ-5 that he kept in the barn, and it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. From that moment on I knew that's what I wanted to drive. It didn't happen right away; I had to live trough a Chevette (I cut the top off), a Cavallier (Z-24, LOL), a small Toyota pickup and a Honda Passport (that one was actually cool - very chunky) before I bought my first - black hardtop YJ. Then a white softtop TJ, and finally my Steel Blue softtop JKU.
It's the ultimate convertible!

Love our 2012 JKUR! In fact we bought another one and are on a trip to Florida with them. Should be about a 3,500 mile round trip on each of them. So far they have been great. They've gotten us through a snow storm from Grand Rapids, MI to Indianapolis, Indiana and zipped through the smoky mountains with ease. Could not be happier with them. I've never owned a vehicle capable of doing so much so well. I will always own a jeep from here on in.

I love my jeep.
It was a big change for me - I went from an accord to a 2012 JKU! I've never had a truck or large vehicle before. It took a leap of faith (and gentle encouragement from my husband) to finally get one after obsessing over jeeps for 2 years.
8500 miles later, I don't think I will ever not have a jeep again!

Absolutely. I had a 2008 JK a couple years ago and had to get rid of it and ever since I've wanted another. Finally got mine two weeks ago a 2012 JKUR and couldn't be happier. Well, when I get a lift and 35s and bumpers and lights and wheels and exhaust and programmer etc I may be happier.
