ME and my buddy were walking to my jeep and two guys beside us was like ..."hey u wanna race"( was driving a 240 sx lowered and shit). my only response was "do you want me to drive a tire on your hood?" i actually could have on his car it was so low. He did not say anything else.

Well, with my TJ I could anyways. Now I have to say wait until I get my lift and tires.

two guys at work are begging me to take them off road in the everglades...one has an avalanche and one has a ridgeline or something and they both keep insisting that it's o.k. cause they have 4wd.

Go ahead and take them...and then point and laugh when they get stuck, that's what I do with my brother-n-law and his 4wd Tahoe. Of course, then you have to pull them out I guess.

buddy amine has a ridgeline, those things are kinda ugly, same thing as an avalanche but Honda....honda seems to copy others, Element for jeep, ridgeline for avalanche.... he knows better then to try and break my balls, ..he only has me on the power locks and windows...

My aunt and uncle just bought a honda cr-v (i know... ) , and they are so obssessed with proving that it's the best. They keep insisting it's best in class, the whole reliability bullshit, fuel economy, etc... And they discreetly bash the jk. I'm like yes, it is a good basic form of transportation. But it's a car for those who dont like cars. Our jeeps may not be on the top for reliability, or have the best quality interiors, or have great fuel economy, but honestly, no vehicle comes close to its versatility (goes everywhere, two tops, removable doors, etc.), it looks awsome and you have alot for your money. That's one thing I like to point out while we're comparing a cr-v to a wrangler (apples to oranges, I know); my aunts base fwd cr-v (a compact suv) comes not even 3 grand below our well equipped 4x4 sahara (a midsized suv), while a comparibly equiped cr-v would be well above our sahara's price. I rest my case.
Maybe even convert the old geezer.
Or Ask what the resale value on a 9 year old crv with 150k is? Then tell them the jeep is worth twice that.
when doing my homework, I did some comparisions with the Honda Pilot.
Try it on edmunds.com and you will be amazed how well the JK measures up interior dimensions, towing capacity, engine etc, AND it has true off road capability. The JK is quite the value.

This one time at Band Camp!
Look I race no one on the street’s why? Because my minivan engine will not out run a 12 year old on a bike from 0 to 60, or beyond however, on the trail I will take all. I may not win but I will have a Damn Good Time Doing it.
The Vet thing ok it is Icy, the park shit yes cut the corner, the Honda’s Acura’s hmmm I find that suspect and all the other claims to fame of the JK hot rodding anything more than a moped on a dry street it is just not gonna happen. Hate to bust bubbles but our 4x4 caravans are only good in the mud, snow, sand, and rocks.

if i was in the market for speed, i could've done a LOT better with $31,000 than a wrangler. (a 2005-ish corvette comes to mind)
however, wranglers do compete in the "fun to drive" category and are undefeated.
