This is exactly why I bought a 4door this time around, I had a 04 TJ Rubi for 5 years, always regretted not getting something bigger even a 2door unlimited. That being said the 2door JKs are alot bigger than a TJ

Really? So considering that every Jeep MJ/CJ/Wrangler (not including one-off custom/special order builds/other non-Wrangler wagons or SUVs carrying a Jeep badge) prior to the introduction of the comparatively recent JK Unlimited has only 2-doors/door openings, then I would say that 65 years of 2-door Jeeps prior to the JK Unlimited would suggest that the 2-doors are the "real" Jeeps...
One thing in common with todays (non-Unlimited) Wranglers and MJ Jeeps built during WW2 that sets them aside from all other 4X4s & SUVs currently on sale are: solid axles front & rear, part-time manual transfer case with low range, convertible roof, fold-down windshield, compact size, removable doors and finally, 2 door openings.
