Its fun to see people get butt-hurt on the subject. I prefer short wheel-base on everything I drive. I could care less what the rest of you are driving.
If it wasn't for you 4-door fools I'm sure our friends at Fiat would have scrapped most of what makes a wrangler a wrangler.

Aside from being a tradition, WHAT advantages does the 2 door have over the 4?????? NOTHING!!!!!
4door- handles and rides smoother on AND off road
Climbs rocks better cause of the space between the front and rear tires.
More passengers to enjoy wheeling with
Much more cargo space.
Face it 2dr jeepers. U r like a old parent sticking to u old traditional ways regardless of how much better and practical the 4dr is.

I can agree with the fact that u said that there r trade offs. No matter what is stated if a person loves a vehicle it doesn't matter what the look. It's needs to be a wrangler I guess.

- bone stock, I would beat you on the quarter-mile
- bonestock, I would get better gas mileage
- I never have to drive my lazy co-workers around because getting in a lifted 2door "is too much of a hassle"
Clearly all very important things.

Second it's a JEEP not a JAPANESE IMPORT regarding the quarter mile
Third its a JEEP not a SMART CAR
Forth i was referring to family. Like a son or a brother or a cousin. Not a coworker.
And regarding getting in a lifted 2dr, perhaps it's not a smart idea for midgets to lift their JEEPS
