Get a 2013 and party like it's 1999!

That's what Prince would do.

another way to look at it, stretch the dollar.
I was hoping there was someone else out there that saw things like I did.

I actually own a 2012 and prefer my supercharged 2007 over it. For all those that throw out the power problem it is a lot cheaper to find a 07-11 JK with low miles and add a supercharger than it is to buy a new 2012. You have a lot of money left over for mods. If I was to decide to mod the wife's JK with exactly everything on my 07 we are talking $46,000.

I love both my jeeps but if I wanted a 3rd I would buy a low mileage used 07-10 and mod the piss out off it.

To each his own.

Is there a noticeable difference from year to year between a 2007-2010?

Honestly, maybe i'm a bit oldschool but...

M/Y 2003 Rubicon was the best Jeep ever built in the tradtional sense.

Sure the JKs are more capable out of the box.

Take the top off and cross some deep water and you will quickly see why drive by wire is a miserable setup.

When it comes down to getting stuff dirty or wet, low end grunt, and just overall being a Jeep the TJ has the JK beat hands down.

08-10 JK's would be the best M/Y JK IMHO

Too many unknowns about the 3.6 just yet.

'11s dont have a tuner available.

I traded my 05 in for the 07. I loved the 4.0 with a standard transmission. I regretted that decision until I supercharged the 07. But I agree with your statement above.

Yeh, the 3.8 handles freeway better than the 4.0, but when it come to that beautiful low end crawling... 4.0 all day.

2012 or newer. All of the benefits of the new suspension and design, plus the added power and better tranny.
