I traded my 2011 for a 2012. Both were Rubicons. There is a huge difference in the pickup and torque. I never regretted trading and am extremely happy I did!! You will be too...

PS. $2,000 is nothing over 5 years compared to the under powered motor of the 2011.

Dont have the '12 but would pick it over stickers. You can turn your Jeep into a "COD" for far cheaper.

Sure the 07 engine has been around for a few years...and look how many complaints it has. It is the love for the Wrangler that makes it bearable for many owners.

There is nothing more "capable" of the COD version

I have a 2011 CoD. It's a Rubicon in disguise. It has everything a Rubicon has, plus a few extras
like a gas door, taillight guards and stickers. I love mine, but like so many others have said before, get the 2012. The extras on a 2011 CoD just aren't worth the money.

i got a 2011 and it works good no problems with anything. Drove a 2012 was thinking about trading in but after the drive i didn't feel the money was worth what i gained in the 2012. i would get a 2012 over a 2011 if i was buying now. Even with all the problems with the motors that a lot of people are having as its all warrenty anyways. and i don't think i would need more power than whats in the 2011 it goes 70- 85 mph for 36 hours of driving from the flats of st louis kansas and further west and north through the rockies to vancouver canada.

They're going to start giving away the 2012's as it is, why would you even consider a 2011... 2 months from now you will be able to order a 2013, my area just got there last load of 2012's and some dealers are sitting at 50 Wrangler/Unlimited's no way they will be selling that many in 2 months.

Any money you save up front on the COD model will be lost immediately in resale value. This is especially true for a '11 model which is the bastard child of the JK world. Get the '12. A 12 rubi is a way better deal than the COD. The COD was nor even based on a RUBI like the new MW3 edition. The dealer just does not want that '11 at all now and wants to dupe someone into taking it off his hands. Man, don't be that sucker!!!

My bad the '11 COD had Rubi features, but take the '12 it is the better rig!
